The first tomatoes of the year are going strong! We did a smaller garden than usual, but I like to think of it as our "salsa" garden: tomatoes, cilantro, onions, garlic and assorted peppers!
Wow, that's cool! I can't even get my tomatoes in the ground until about June 5 to make sure they won't get hit by frost. Enjoy watching those tomatoes grow. Do you have to worry about blight? We got our tomatoes off last year before blight hit, but cannot plant them in the same soil this year or they would blight. Evidently blight is a fungus that stays in the soil. :-((

We just put ours in the ground yesterday. All 21 of them! Enjoy - there's nothing like a sunripened 'mater!
